A50 Dead- Need Help Fast!! - GSM-Forum

My siemens A50 is dead and i have winswup and a cable but when i flash the phone it wont turn on. I heard about TESTPOINTS but how do you use them wher and where are they? Which program do i have to use with this.

If you have an e-mail, I can post you picture - where is testpoint located on the A50 and how you can disable it. It's not a program! You have to open and repair your phone.

But i don't understand - WinSwup work with phone or you can't start ignition of the process when push a on/off button on the phone?

Ok now i know where the testpoint is. I connected it to the edge of the board(GND). Now does anyone have any flashes *.bin and eeprom because i read that with winswup it doesnt work. my mail: [email protected]

Well! Let's me send you only BootCore. You are write it on the phone (with disable of testpoint). It seems to me - after that WinSwup will be alive. Keep bootCore on the mail.

But this is what happened:
I wanted to take off simlock
and then the phone is dead. now i just want to get it back. I tried winswup and the phone was flashed but nothing, still the same. I tried connecting testpoint to the GND and then winswup but error with bootcore.

Now i just want to get my phone back

Thanks for the flash and bootcore. First i flashed the phone(after that the light only worked for 2 seconds) then the bootcore. I opened Winswup and still thesame error "No bootcere detected". What did i do wrong? Can you give me directions?

You have to return your own EEPROM over mine (in FullFlash), disable a TestPoint and run WinSwup.

i dont realy understand but this is what im going to do
1. flash phone with A50fullflash.fls an testpoint not connected to gnd. in the program i dont change configuration(xax testpoint)
2. connect testpoint to gnd and run unlock.

is this ok?
im going to do this now
