A50 language change/add pls help ... - GSM-Forum

Hello,

I like to change the language pack for A50 ver 7 ... I have a firmware flash ( self executable ) and when I try to flash the phone if I use TestPoint I receive this message : No BootCore detected ... if I don't use TestPoint then the flashing process staart but It doesen't compleate the erase procedure ( the erse will be skiped ) and will freez at 2% at writeing procedure ...
Can someone help me to write this firmware into my phone, or with some advice about how can I chnge the language pack ???

I can't believe it ! Man, when you flash with winswup, you don't need TP, only phone powered on !

oka .. you can't belive ... but it is true ... so it hapents ... the Transfer UP-SW and Erase Flash is skiped ... what I must do ... the flash ID is BA20 ... mabe this can be the problem ?? an I have a firmware version 4 and in phone is version 7 ... mabe downgrading is not posible ... tell me pls ...

No way, you cannot downgrade, you need at least same firmware or higher

do you have Firmware version 7 with Romanian language pack ???

Yes ,but it's not free. I got them with the promise that I don't release them

hi, register site www.freegsmteam.cz , download lang pack for a50 from section support/ PODPORA & write to phone Wizard software.
100% TESTED.
