k u have nothing to lose now hehehe use a prog called c45 tool v0.1b(search the google.com) and in it press read phone u'll find sumthin' like c489 ,ba20 ,or sumthing else its in a box called 'flash info'
but mainly u can use a siemens logger it will make somthing called logfile now right ur phone serial number (u'll find it under battery and save the log then open it with note pad copy the text and paste it here (there is some place in these forums called logfile request ) in the logfile request past it and some one will give u a map copy it and save it in a .map format and then use siemens mapper(search for it) and then put the map with it to the phone) thats it i hope u understand me
for proggies search for odblokgsm in google.com

Hi, I have tried this program before and it always reports a communications error, even on different PC's, I am now wondering if it is the cable which is a siemens original, but it works ok with my M35 phone. Help!!!

Hi Dave M!
I know two cables: one only for X35, the other for all Siemens: c25,X35,X45

i did the same thing with a c45, used the "c45/mt50 unlocker" thinking I had nothing to lose and my phone sprang back into life unlocked. Previously to this I tried the unlocker on it's own and had no joy. I've since tried this on another c45 and the phone has unlocked again. These were both c489 chips with v.06
