C45 display "Please confirm to switch on"

It display everytimes when turn on phone with simcard, and after press ok phone work as normal.
A little thing I've known about this is that it occour when you use EEprom from another C45.
If you use it's EEprom that come from with that phone, the message doesn't show.
The problem is when you repair C45 which original EEprom damage or destroy and you must load from another phone, so that massage will still show all the times.
How to solve this problem or any idea please...

Hi!

Your PIN code is disabled right?
As far as I know that message appears if you have PIN disabled, and it has nothing to do with eeprom.
It's some kind of protection from siemens.
Just turn back PIN code and that message will disappear.

Best Regards!!!

Smile

It is normal, the S45 does the same if PIN is deactivated. That is a protection. Look in the manual....explains all.

100% right...

It's protection agains accidental switch on and making a call

If PIN is active there is no message to confirm switch on because it's impossible that u type all numbers of PIN accidentally...

If no PIN then u have to confirm that u want to switch phone on so again it is impossible to make accidental call
