| I've tried to upgrade from v.36 to v.50 but always get the following error ... "Could not ping mobile". Every other siemens software works fine with my phone. Has anyone else had similar problems? Last edited by fixfox; 11-21-2002 at 07:01. |

| I have been flashing my phone since v.06 and am now at v.36. Somehow this one has not been as simple as the others. I'm hoping that someone with another version (v.31 etc ) will try and let us know how it went. |

|  This software is not working!!! This WinsUp flasher is not working!!! I have tryed everithing to flash my phone but it's not working! Every other software is working on my phone but this is the most buggy WinsUp i've ever seen! I receive that: Error on waiting for Ack EOT !!! What to do???  |

| I read somewhere that it works with v.33 only. I have no idea why . If anyone has version 33, he can try it and inform us of the results. My version is v.36 and will therefore have to downgrade first. This is what someone had to say on a german forum, translated using altavista.com ........ "The v.50 on my C45. Top software, very fast, integriet finally assistance menu. The software is recommended. I've seen no negative characteristics up to now. " |

| This is what I've seen on a German Forum: V50 works for sure, you've got to have V33 or V35, not V36. Only works with pre-check, phone "on", while pressing start. During pre-checks, press the red button a few times. Allready tested it several times. (I didn't test it myself, cos I have V36.) | Thank's a lot, but..... That's very stupid> Why to downgrade my fw 36 to 33 or 35 to get the new flash??? This must be upgrade not doungrade and must work fine with all fw versions. I don't want to downgrade my phone because he must get dead and then the big troubles begin. I have to install win 98 to repair my phone. If you have a better way how i can downgrade under Win XP post it here PLEASE!!! |
