CONVERT .smi to .txt ?????? - GSM-Forum

does anybody know which software can I use to convert .smi messeges to .txt, so I can read them???

standard siemens software I got with my ME45 telephone can convert only those meseges that are not bigger than 160 caracters...

try to use simoco, read the *.smi, and then copy the text using notepad

if I only knew what is "simoco"...?

I searched with google, but I find some companies with that name

Ok, but using SiMoCo you can copy&past ONLY THE TEXT of SMS.. it doesn't copy other datas, like sender number, name, time.
So, there is a trick? Or maybe a better program for this task?

for lalo.lerry: the version I used could copy text, sender number and time, only not a sender name...
