Dead SL45, flashing in dos? - GSM-Forum

guys, i have an SL45 version 601,, if I upgrade it to slik, using winswup, it works, when i try to downgrade to anything besides slik, it is DEAD, i used A35-a40 map part1 & part2, nothing comes up, as soon as I upgrade it to slik, it comes on like a champ.

what am I doing wrong? I tried running the swup91, swup94, from both windows dos session & dos itself, same result.

where am i going wrong, experts ?

is there a way to use winswup with xbi files, if so, where can I find the winswup exe itself? if not, is there a program to extract the XBIs & EXEs from the slik flasher like the one for dos ?

irinel: my problem is with the eeprom, where can I find the *.lc eeprom file & what do I use to write it to the phone ?
