Dead SLik.. Unknown flash type. Pls Help - GSM-Forum

Hello peoples.
Subj is
Dead Slik, Unisiemens work ok, but write "Flash One ID: 0002, Type: 0000; Flash Two ID: 6CD4, Type: 0000
" Why Type 0000???? I don`t understand... When I try to use other software it say me something near " Flash not supported"
Siemens unlock write "COMM_LoadBoots : Waiting to power on the phone ...
COMM_LoadBoots : phone is powered on
COMM_IsBootRunning : unknown flash id 0002"
...
Winswup write "Unknown Flashcode B990"
..
I try to use LC files but when I try to upload "corrected" LC file, get message " Unsupported flash configuration Flash HC=41B2B4"

Pls help!... May be any have some idea?

well sounds like u loaded a wrong fw. all u must do i just reload the fw u want eg 54 56 55 52 ect. then it sould be fine

It happends with some experiments....

Aspecialy, when flashing phone with winswup, and take mobile out from SyncStation after winswup has deleted Your flash...

All You need to don is flashing that fphone one more time with some of flasers or use Your backUp... if You have

No.. :-( It`s was very easy to correct.. I don`t know what my friend do with it, because He give phone to other people, and they return it dead... But I think that problem not in flash, because I write full flash ( with Unisiemens) from other phone) but, no can`t map it.. because all program say`s "unknown flash type" :-((

I flashing this phone with flash making by Unisiemns from working phone.. no results.. all program say " unknown flash type" winswup too... :-(

just download fw54 and put it in the phone

Hmm You mean Firmary, Or full flash?
If you mean Firmary, then I try, but WinSwup say Unknown Flash type.. If you mean full flash, then I try this too ( with Unisiemens) It`s flashing Ok, but then is dead.. If I try map it, Logger write "login to phone", then " writing IMEI" and then freez...

i meen then full flash when it stops writing just press stop then do it again if still dont work tyr putting a new eeprom and if still doing it then it might be your conection

go to this yahoo group then sign up and you'll get somes overthere. HTH.

you need to find a 98se machine to work with it
and make sure you'll use 0nly SL45-19_01.flx - full flash image file

I try to use All3/4 software and flash flx file.. but all3/4 sotware say "Flash HC = 9090 Unsupported flash configuration, or wrong phone type selected."
May be all3/4 software that I use old version, or not cracked yet?

all 3/4 sometime only works on a clean Win98 system.
well if its not too much for you.. set a small partition on your 1st HDD. with FAT file system then install 98se on that part. i always work on the phone under Win98.

Hmmm I think that it`s not winxp troble.. because this siftware cool work with my C35.. I can read flash, and do another manypulations... I think that on my SLIK damaged FLASH data, and it say uncorrect flash type...
Because it start "load aplication" and then gove error message that uncorrect flash type....9090... Can I correct flash type? or ignore this check?
