Member: 192978 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | have you tried a MMC+ card in your phone? are these cards compatible with older phones with mmc card slot? I have a Siemens SX1, but I think the question is usefull for any phone user that can put a mmc card into his phone my first choice is a 512Mb MMC+ Kingston have anybody used this card with a phone? has anybody used a MMC+ card with his mobile phone the new cards have lower power comsumption specifications(this sounds nice)/ greater speed(in a card reader you will probably benefit of the better speed) and up to 2 Gb capacity the problem is that if I buy the card and it doesn't work with the phone I can't get my money back or change it with something else so if you are using any brand of MMC card with your phone and is at least 512Mb in size please write a post with the details so I can be sure that I would not buy a card that doesn't work with the phone |

Member: 192978 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | I've read what the producers of multimedia cards are advertising: this is for the RS-MMC, RS-MMC dual voltage and MMC+ that the new MMC cards are backwards compatible with the devices that suport the old MMC format so it should be no problem, if no one came with a specific example that it isn't so...I'll belive them |
