| Ziemens Workshop 1.22, Martech 1.7, both read FF from the EEPROM section. S35, v16, flash type E401 (read by ziemens), never unlocked, huh. Please, help. + martech reads the phone about 50 minutes, why? are there any comport settings? |

| I'm not sure that this will resolve. I have a C35 with the same flash type (E401) and the same problem. [ 11 February 2002: Message edited by: BNN ]
|

| I wonder, if this could be a hardware problem? btw, I have some dumps from flash type E401, what do these people do to read it? Is E401 readable? p.s. GsMen: buy... ok, from you?! 1st, I'm not making a profit of this stuff at all, it's just for myself. Why should I pay hundreds of $$$, just for the curiosity. 2nd - why should I buy inoperable sw? |

| I've just tried it using Ziemens 1.22 and a C35i with flash type E401. The first 2MB of the flash appears to be dumped correctly, but the second 2MB is an exact copy of the first 2MB. I tried to dump the phone twice, and got two identical files. Using Martech 1.7, the code appears to be dumped correctly, but the EEPROM area is still filled with 0xFF. This is all rather confusing, since I do have some files from phones with a flash type of E401 - but I can't remember what software I used to make them. Regards, Pete |

| I have the same trouble with this Flash E401. All the progs mentioned above give only "FF".
Not so long ago I've tested Siemens Flash Reader 3.0a by Andromeda. Trying EEPROM option - results in the same 64K of FF. Another option "Read RAM" also reads 64K, but the file contains some data (ex. Time/Charge values). Is it right to identify this file as EEPROM? (Selecting "Edit" shows the same data as "Read RAM" and header says ViewEprom). I'm really have stucked in backuping of this ****** phone. I want to change locked Internet profile (many thanks to Trimesh for showing the way to make it). |
