Hi,
How I make a data cable for a siemens a40? Anyone have a diagram or schematic? Something simple.

I am a computer science student, curious and newbie in gsm area.

I am already searched on google and other sites but no find the schematic for this data cable.

I am talk with a eletronic engineer studante. She said who need more deitails for do the cable.

We don´t understand how the reduce the 16V of the cable. Will my cellphone dead with this cable? how could i know if this cable will not break my cellphone?

That's why there is a Ic 78L05. That's a voltage regulator. At input there are comm voltages up to 30V and at output there are 5V for Max power.
