Member: 11793 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | there is somewhere a whole thread about it...look for it... ive got that solution saved to the file..so...(its just copied from that thread): ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1. Take any working map-file for LC Uploader, for ex. SL45_45BD75D1.lc for SL45 or CSME45_2BDA1FCA.lc for C45. 2. Now edit this file in hexeditor: 0008-000B - change 4 bytes to PhoneID your phone (0009-000C in ldb-file). 3. Start *_lcu.exe, select an option "Write Def. EEP", load corrected *.lc and press Init Mobile. Default eeprom it is written in the phone! 4. Now it is necessary to write the working map in the phone with Siemens IMEI Writer. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mail me for tools... Member: 12404 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Thanx gomel.. i still don't know how to edit a .lc file.. where can i get an editor for it???.. and the phone ID, is it the one which comes in the log file? eg:- mine was showing PhoneID: 5C6CBFD5 .. and which 4 bytes do I have to change? and one more doubt.. where can I get this *_lcu.exe?.. I know I'm bugging u a bit more than what I shoul... but please help if u can... Thanx regards Girish |

Now I got a .lc file from someone and I loaded it in my phone.. but it shows an error message "EEPROM damaged use x45_GetUp_App." what doest this mean?? phone is still not working... just a "birrrrr" when I try to switch it on.. please help.. regards Girish |
