MMC for Siemens S45 mp3 player? - GSM-Forum

Hi all!

I have Siemens mp3 player here. Just like this -> http://www.1a-handyshop.de/images/ar...ixx_35_MP3.jpg

Now I have to buy MMC. My question is... Is this Multi Media Card -> http://www.digital-flash.com/catalog...Max_MMC128.jpg compatible with the player?

By my experiments, I can say that all 128MB MMCs work on Siemens mp3 player.
Problems ev. arise using 256 and + MBs MMC, only some of them are recognized by mp3 player.
I've tried Extremememory MMCs up to 512MB and they work, but others don't...
KingMax??? I really don't know...

How do you understand that the MMC is not working? Is it enough to put it in the player and see if recocnizes that there is a card??? Or I have to put some mp3 files and test it??? Cos I'm not sure i'll be able to test with mp3 in the shop

Kingmax 128MB MMC works fine with the MP3-device...

I usually load some mp3 on MMC and try to play them with player.
If it's all right first song starts and infos are displayed on phone screen.
But if you cannot do this truth test, you can also put an empty MMC in mp3 player and press play. If phone display shows "Empty MMC" it SHOULD work, if it show "MMC error" shouldn't.

Now I have 128mb Kingmax MMC and it's just cool

By the way the price of the Kingmax MMC is just 12 euro. Brand new!

Yeah I really love it

My girlfriend too

As you know she has S45 too and now we have mp3 players

I found the MMC in i local shop for computers. Here you can see some prices -> http://www.jarcomputers.com/5.html The page is written in Bulgarian but I think you will see the prices. They are in US dollars. 16$ = ~12 euro

I will buy one more 128mb MMC or maybe two these days. I prefer 3x128mb than 1x512mb
