play mp3 which is stored in subfolder inside mp3 folder - GSM-Forum

hi.. is it possible, have sub folder inside mp3 folder and put some songs inside it? i know we can, but can we play the song with playlist afterthat? should i modify the playlist so it can refer/recognise the songs?

all those trouble is because i have 256MB MMC, so now i can put 40 hi quality songs. i wish i can make english folder for english songs, japanese folder for jp songs, etc... make it easy to organize.

yes you can.

when I readed your post I tryed it and at the first attempt it worked.

You have to modify the playlist. Just copy it to your HD and open it with notepad. just add the map name before the song name in this way: mp3 name: 'test' wanted folder name to put the song in 'en'.
when you open the playlist you will see the mp3 name 'test.mp3' just modify this line to 'en\test.mp3'

copy back the playlist and it will work fine.

You can put mp3 in other path that isn't a:\mp3
such as

a:\dance
a:\pop

and playlist file you put in
a:\temp

and file name is a:\temp\allsongs.pl
contain of your playlist must be like below here
..\dance\file1.mp3
..\dance\file2.mp3
..\dance\file3.mp3
..\dance\file4.mp3
..\pop\file1.mp3
..\pop\file2.mp3
..\pop\file3.mp3
..\pop\file4.mp3

Do not contain absolute path coz it be referrence with a:\mp3
