Problems with logger for S45

Hi there !

Can anybody explain to me why there ain't no ****ing logger working, to read a map of my S45?

What am I doing wrong ?

I plug the phone in, configure the logger, hit read phone, put my phone on,
then the only thing the program reads is : "scanning"

Is it a problem with my com port ? (The cable works)
I have it on 115 000.

Any advices ?

All help is welcome

Thanx a lot

Hi!

Try reading the log in another pc...

Remember: When the logger displays "Scanning" press power ON for a short time...

Best regards.

Exclamation

Doesn't do anything.
The only thing it does when I press power on, is shutting down my phone.

Hum.... do you have a better advice ? what else do I have to do ?

Thanx

Hi!

Try a slower PC... Have you tried it in many computers??

Phone Must be OFF... then when "Scanning" is displayed just hit power ON for a short moment...

Bye.

Do you know that phone must be off before pushing log button?
After that press NO! Next time make experiments with some repairable phones (like Ericsson) not S45!!!

It is just an advise!

Hello!

First of all, phone must OFF while logging.

However, IMHO, the reason of your problem is the data-cable. The original Siemens cable which is included with phone, doesn't work with All Siemens Logger V3.00. You must use alternate cable (schemes are all over the net).
Some cables have an auto-ignition feature (which means, that you don't have to press red button, when logging, flashing and so), but plain cables requires you to press red button shortly (for about 0.5 sec).

To BufferMess: What do you mean: "repairable phones"? IMHO every sinlge phone is repairable (to me S45 is even more repairable then any Ericsson)

greetings: Maciek (whatever)

i have same problem, i have tried a PC and 3 laptops. also have two data cables and have tried both of them on all machines. cant seam to get the logger to work with the s45.

the cables are both servising cables and not orignal. there also not auto ignaition and have used them several times to unloc sl45 and c45.

what am i doing wrong or could this be a phone error?

To Maciek: OK! You may be right but partially. For instance, T28 is much more repairable than S45 Lets not argue about it. For some people Ericsson is OK! and for some people Siemens!

For me Nokia is the best!
