S35 Connect to internet - GSM-Forum

Hi
I have a question.There is a way to connect to internet with my computer with an s35 phone using a data cable through wap?
My gsm provider have free wap service for a couple of months and i would like to know if there is a posibility to do this.I need a software or...............Pls let me know because im very confuse.

Hi
To connect with internet through pc by using mobilephone you need configuration for PC, mean modem driver for calbe, you need find a file such modem ini file for X35 ( look in my-siemens .com), after that connect calbe to your pc, go to control panel, select modem, add new modem, choose 19299 bps standard modem, and add modemx35.ini, next .
After that choose property, query modem to make sure your modem is good
make new connection, choose modem and that work

Yes i know all that you have told me but i dont need a normal dial-up connection through my cell phone.I think i need a sofware that can connect to a wap ip to wap port with wap user and wap password,you know all the wap settings.My gsm provider havent have free internet for normal dial-up just wap.I dont know how to make my self understood because my english *****.I hope someone will help me.

Create a new Internet profile, and ask your provider for the relevant details.

IP: 010.250.010.011
Port: 9201
User: csr
Password: wap
Line type: ISDN
Baud rate: 9600
Idle time: 300
This are the details but i dont need a new profileeeeeeeee.I need a soft on my PC where i can set those details and to connect with my pc through the phone to that number at that ip on that port with that user and pass.Its so hard to understand what i need??Ok thankx anyway for the help and for the replys.
