S45 Simlock remove - GSM-Forum

Hi! I'm new to this forum. I bought S45 from my mobile company so
it's locked for other SIM cards. I wonder how can I remove this simlock.
I have downloaded soft such as Ksie 5.1 and All Siemens.
Step by step instructions would be VERY nice.

p.s. Is it possible with the data cable that came with the phone?

No, you have to use no-name cable or to modify the original one. The SME45tool will unlock your phone

yes use non original data cabel, then with ksie, freia, or sme45 tool, go to unlock, and unlock it.
Your mobile must be off, and when soft starts workin shortly click phone red button (on/off) to unlock. Be carefull, your mobie mustn't go on when you click red button.

Can you be a little more specific about the cable (mark, label).

Just ANY data cable not made by siemens. Or you can mod your original by adding 4,5V - 5V to pin 4 and connect the ground to pin 1
