Member: 24202 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Where does the sl45 save custom t9 words? My sl45 usually turns off when writing SMS (I think it's a battery problem) so any words I added to the dictionary are lost. The only way to save them is to shut down the phone after every other msg to save them. Are they saved on the MMC or the mobile itself? Is there any way to make saving the words permanent when adding them? Thanks. |

You can read out the EEPROM with a data cable by using application "vklay" (or another flash modifying app). New word are saved in a region in EEPROM, but not many, space is limited to 64K for all user specific data. The problem for you is, that new words and every such thing like missed calls, duration of last call etc. is only saved in phone's memory, and it will be stored permanent in eeprom only when turning off the phone regularly with the red button. A way to save the words permanent when adding them is to write all new words in a row (in a nonsense SMS, you don't need to save it) and then shutting down the phone. After restart all learned words are permanent (until you taught the phone many new words - space is limited to I think 50-100 words). |

Then you could enter all words you want to this files, and even change sequence of appearing different words assigned to the same key combination. I’ve been looking for something like this, but unfortunately I couldn’t find it. |
