Member: 269306 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 4 | well i could really use a sugestion on what track to cut , because on a50 all testpoint schematics indicate grounding of a pad next to button 1 on the keypad... P.S. the phone is detected by joker and freia but only without testpoint and i get " boot is not accepted " error. |

Siemens A60 have other connector type (and other pinouts). Maybe you maked cable with X50 and X55 connectors (I'm working with this one). Try to modify your cable and insert autoignition option (not need to push shortly the "power on" button). See on attachemment. Br, dagos Last edited by dagos; 06-15-2008 at 15:42.

Member: 269306 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 4 | Yes , i have converted the a60 cable for the a50 connector and i have made proper connections as shown in your pictures. i have also made the autoignition connection but i have placed a 2.2 kohm resistor in series with the diode and it's not working because i still have to start the phones manually. Do you think it's safe to remove the resistor? I have measured and it has around 4v at the autoignition pin with the resistor( the cable i'm using draws power from DTR and other pins of the serial port, maybe it's afecting the autoignition? ). Thanks for the pictures. |

Freia , Joker , SST , a50 by jordik , ksie2 etc. they are all failing to send the boot to the phone and i get "boot not accepted" from all of them. Please provide a valid solution to the a50 problem i am experiencing. Maybe a different cable setup?
