well i could really use a sugestion on what track to cut , because on a50 all testpoint schematics indicate grounding of a pad next to button 1 on the keypad...

P.S. the phone is detected by joker and freia but only without testpoint and i get
" boot is not accepted " error.

...not exist cut track methode for the X50 series.
Use serial cable and connect testpoint to ground.

I know there is no cut track , but NONE of my a50's accept the grounded testpoint. Like i said before , when TP is connected the power button is not responsive, only when i power up without TP i get "phone is powered on" and 'send boot' but without TP it fails and says "boot is not accepted".
I'm still awaiting a valid solution as i have tried all the programs in all ways and nothing( my serial cable is working fine because i have flashed an Siemens A60 with it).

Hi,
Siemens A60 have other connector type (and other pinouts). Maybe you maked cable with X50 and X55 connectors (I'm working with this one).
Try to modify your cable and insert autoignition option (not need to push shortly the "power on" button).
See on attachemment.
Br,
dagos

Yes , i have converted the a60 cable for the a50 connector and i have made proper connections as shown in your pictures. i have also made the autoignition connection but i have placed a 2.2 kohm resistor in series with the diode and it's not working because i still have to start the phones manually. Do you think it's safe to remove the resistor? I have measured and it has around 4v at the autoignition pin with the resistor( the cable i'm using draws power from DTR and other pins of the serial port, maybe it's afecting the autoignition? ). Thanks for the pictures.

A50 doesn't need TP, it has the bootcore bug that allows conneting without TP.
Just select "bootcore bug" in the Freia setup.
You don't need autoignition, you can remove it.

I have tried that bootcore bug option too , and all the others too. I have used
Freia , Joker , SST , a50 by jordik , ksie2 etc. they are all failing to send the boot to the phone and i get "boot not accepted" from all of them. Please provide a valid solution to the a50 problem i am experiencing. Maybe a different cable setup?

Are you able to do other phones (eg C/M35, S35, M50, C45) with that cable?
This is a valid solution, with A50 & Freia there is no TP needed.

I don't have those models, only 3 siem a50 (1 is dead and 2 are locked ).
Like i said i used Freia all versions and they all say "boot is not accepted", i used all boot options. Please post here your version of Freia , perhaps it will work for me.

...maybe your cable don't working properly on the X35/X45/X50 phones. Try to find C35/M35 datacable or to own your cable (DCA500).

YES , finally success. I have bought a UFS Deluxe box by sarasoft and combined with a third party modified freia for ufs i have succesfully
unlocked two A50's , and with another soft DirectCOM and Joker , i am trying to repair another A50 whitch is dead (buzz and brief turn on and off). :>
Thanks for your support.
