We can make free unlocker but we need readed eeprom file whit EepromTool for siemens phones. Please if your phones not locked on 262-07 read eep files and send to us .

Hi!

EEpromTool by DarkBear can read a50.
Just connect phone to cabal.
Information can not be displayed but you will get answer like phone is connected, then just push read from phone,set file name like A50_*version.eep (*version - version of phone) and you will see that program read EELite and EEFull . After that send me that file ~ 41 kb.

That is softare but we need readed eeprom file from a50 who not locked whit 262-07, and version 3.01. You can read lock status pressing *#0606# , then pres INFO .You will see Unbared couple time and one Bared like 262 07 4 9. Send us redaed file to finish FREE A50 unlocker

I've put 2 eeproms readed by EepromTools 1.1:

Network lock is - 242 02

I've added one more eeprom:
ftp://81.24.129.53/a50_040408_Prepared.eep

This eeprom from the same serie of phones like above (Network lock 242 02), but he wasn't locked successfully by manufacturer.

At power on phone writes "Not successfully locked!", and after that phone works fine. At the string, where must be info about network lock, written - "Prepared" against "Unbarred" or "242 02".

Maybe this file can help a bit :)+

Funny.

In all this files I dont find fields with IMEI and Security area

Maybe is not possible (easy) read this field from phone

If You need I send You FULL readed eeprom (psyhicaly) not in service mode

Your eeprom is OK but containst ONLY SETTINGS like: WAP, contrast, network parameters, phonebook etc.

In this EEPROM You dont find any block with IMEI or security or similar.

Security fields reading has been disabled for servicemode by Siemens a loooong time ago in some of their phones

Are anyone expected Siemens re-enabled this in A50?
