Siemens C35i - Battery and Charging Problem - GSM-Forum

Hi.

I have few mobiles from Siemens C35i (new refurbished), with Li-on Battery and not Ni-MH as the original battery.
I have few Problems, if any1 can help pls:

1) Does any1 know what is the problem that the phones isn't charging even after lots of hours?

2) When i try to charge the phone turn off. what can b the reason?

3) What is the latest Software version of This mobile? where can i get it?

1. + 2. It seems that blk (battery) values incorrect by changing Li-Ion-battery. Old battery has assumedly about 600-700mAh...new one about 1200mAh - isn't it?

Sorry, but in that case I can't help you and I don't know, where you get a blk-file for C35i.

What's going on, if you insert old battery???

3. This is a little bit language depended...

test the voltaj output phone

change the cpu sensor by sensor tools

replace the charging ic

The battery capacity is as the original.

from the info i get till now it seems to b SW problem.

about the site u gave, i d/l from it, but its XBI files. how can i open them? i've been told i need FLS or BIN file. do u know anything about it?

Bad quality bateries,or bateries made bad in factory.Often problem.
It can be solved but then you are risking to damage your phone.
Do you think that you can calibrate beter than Siemens itself.
Try to enter engeenier mode and watch the charging voltage when charging phone to see on what voltage it is going to turn off.maybe you will get the idea how to calibrate.
