Siemens S45 -> S45i -> SL45 -> SL45i

well, let's go

bought a Siemens S45 two weeks ago, the salesman told me it was Java compatible but must confess I became a little disapointed when discovered it wasn't.

but the manufacturer's politics of releasing new models with the same hardware but diferent firmware, like S45i which is S45 with e-mail client still without JVM despite it's space (JavaDumm module) reserved in "memory" made think if:

wouldn't SL45 (or SL45i) be an updated version of S45 (or S45i) with Java support built in? wouldn't it be possible to update S45(i) with SL45(i) firmware? or extract SL45(i)'s Java Module and upload it to S45(i) JavaDumm module empty space?

may we share ideas?

update to SL45i is not possible because of too different hardware.
Implaning Java would be possible but it is much much work...

modules

in theory, and I'm based on this, these modules should no be so hard to be extracted

the matter is, are there any guides on Siemens phones firmware programming (or hacking)?
