Siemens Sensors Tool 1.1 and ME45 battery problem
 

Good morning.

I was repairing my phone (Siemens ME45) and now it turns off while charging and it can be charged maximum to 80-85%.

I saw in archive that Siemens Sensors Tools can help me. Below is a screenshot form this program. I don't know what values should i enter before writing them into the phone.

Your SpgY03V is very low for Li-ion it should be 72xx or nearly try to adjust for best value of your batt.

Hmmm, i remember i could not make Sensors Tools to work with S45. Would you be so kind and send me this version of application you are using with ME45 ?

You are using standard service cable (without external power supply and auto-ignition), am i right ?

How long does your battery on ME45 last? My holds for about 3-4 days with no any kind of prevention.

It would be nice if you can really give us link for that software you have using.

And if someone could explain some explanation of how to using this program, it would be very very good.

Sorry!!! I think he posted the picture that capture from C45 or Sl45.

Ken : Thank you. I have changed that value to 7200 and now i can charge my battery to 100% again :) and the battery keeps as long as before.

Only the one problem remains - the phone is turning off when it is charged fully at 100% (previously it was turning off approx. at 80%)

Darim, can you tell me how do you know how much percent your battery is charge? Do you only look at the indicator on display or there is some other more, precission way? Than again HOW MUCH YOUR BATTERY last?

I can see it with ACCU monitor from Developer Menu.

Darim for turning off i think that the value of TBattof must be higher than Spg

Hmmm, i adjust :


SpgY03V to 7200

and

TBatOff to 7201

and battery indicator is too low and phone turns off after it's connect to the charger.

Would anyone be so nice and read his S/ME45 with Li-Ion 840mAh using Sensors Tool 1.1 and type all parameters here so i could copy them ?

drug_store : hmmm, your 0000 is very low. So was its mine before i've changed it to 7200. When my 0000 was abount 3800 the phone couldn't be fully charged.

Are you sure your S45 works fine and can be charge at 100% drug ? :) I guess it should not.

These settings are correct(works fine for me)!Your phone wil not turn off while charging(and battery will be 100%),after ME/S45 to ME/S45i.
Block file (blk) with these settings send to me NRG,so I would like to say Thank You to him.

Thanks man, but I don't know should I changde this parametersbecause as you can see they are very close to my original paramters?

One more thing. Is it enougt to save original EEP so to if you are not satisfied with your new settings you can just put your old EEP back?

U can save and reload your parameter of battery with sensor tool of DarkBear and it isn't necessary saving and reloading all EEprom for this

SAVING:
click on read phone
after click on Write file
put a name like "mine"
that's all

RELOADING:
click on read file
select a file block u want es. "mine"
click on write phone
done

all settings of battery change in siemens sensors tool.
Just put these settings in sensors tool and write your phone(first save blk file of with your settings-just for sure).Thats all.

Does anybody knows values for c45 with 650mha Li-ion battery?
Phone doesn`t turn off or stops charging,but i want to know value to set my c45 with 650 Li-ion to the best setting!

works fine but in the last day a lot of time after sending sms go off!
...i am not sure that is a problem of battery.....

I had one ME45 with data simmilar to yours, but phone kept constantly shutting off when charging completes.

So, i firsrt tried to put 7200 for 0000 and 7201 for 0002, and
chargung error was corected, but phone was allways showing
full battery (even on Vbat 3.3 V !!!)

Then i tried your data, and phone is OK. Charging normal, no shut-off, battery lasts for more than 120 min of talk (battery is one year old!)

It is nice to try different data. But does anyone know, what does each filed exactly mean? And what format are the data which should be written into those fields? There are some voltage and temperature data..... I need some help with this, please. I don't have problems with charging, but I have problem with temperatures. My phone does not turn on when it is cold.

Yes, sensor tools could probably help. Try it, but first save your data to file.... If something goes wrong, load your backup to phone. Try values posted in this thjread and inform us of results!

I've tried the WITEK settings and the phone is working fine?
What are the meaning of each setting? Not only 0000, 0002, 0004, 0006. Is those setting thge perfect tunning for the mobile?

These settings are working for me too, but there's one problem... The phone can't be fully loaded with carkit. I noticed that with my old settings, the phone loaded better. Now my battery indicator says the phone is fully loaded, much earlier. With my old setting I also couldn't fully load battery so I wonder wich settings I should use.

Somebody any idea to get it loaded better in carkit?

If anyone got good results for M35i please post... will the values already posted work well for other models like C35/M35?

Is there any risk to the phone by using wrong values not suitable for my phone?

Here is my issue, and maybe you can suggest an alternative solution... but from what I am looking at, I might be able to fix it with this tool you are talking about...

I have an S55... When I start to charge the phone, it discharges. I bought a new battery yesterday and I got the same problem. Bought a new charger too, just in case.

Now I have no technical understanding of the phone, but could you suggest some way to fix this? Thank you.

PS. Now there is no juice in the batteries to switch it on and charge them.
