The simpliest way to upgrade from ME/S45 to S45i - GSM-Forum

The following instructions are taken from www.o45m.ru:

Based on: Skylord
Authors: Mishunya, Gnom, sk
Date: 17-10-02 12:18

0. Make backup (read the full flash etc).
1. Flash your phone with the firmware from S45i, version 04... or 03....
2. Read the flash starting at 0x290000 having the lenght 0x050000.
3. Correct it according to the table below (as in SkyLord instruction but with corrected addresses).
4. Write the corrected flash to 0x290000.

PS At the present moment it is known that there exist ME45's which cannot be upgraded ;-(

for ME45 only
