2. Repair EEprom with map-file

well i was for posting it....and same link!

i have flashed with unisiemens and after remap with my lc file that i have made before flash and all ok!
now i have 55!!!

Hello.

I've uploaded this firmware to my SL45i today - this full flash has JAVA acitvated, so you don't need to play with Warlord tool - just upload it with UniSiemens and write a map.

About changes: JAVA support was improved: midlets run faster (in my opinion) and some of them at last run at all :P (for example, I couldn't run "Stack Attack 2" from M(T)50 on firmware v49, and now it's working). Also you can set upper case permanently while writing sms by pressing "*" (just like in S/ME45). I haven't notice more changes between v49 and v55 (I have SL45 only few days so far and I haven't seen v52 and v54 so I'm not able to say more... ).

Yes, everyone that already enabled JAVA support for v54, now won´t need to reactivate it again.

instead of repairing eeprom with map just save your eeprom with uni-siemens and replace the eeprom of the fubu after the flash - you won't have trouble with your phone settings and t9 and so on

the eeprom areas are compatible

my way without eprom tested also from ver19

anyway i am trying to do better, a more little flash.bin for not lose and touch in flash other settings like possible changed immagines vocal commands and so on....

Best way to flash without map

With an hexeditor open the 55.bin and cut it at 5F0000 (without
eprom) then flash it with unisiemens.....nothing else to do!

A third way: if u have saved your eprom, flash the entire 55.bin and
after write your eprom with your settings

in both ways phone works, tested!

Save your pictures:

if someone with Fw52 or Fw54 had modified the flash with new/change pictures in sl45, can save (read) the pictures before flashing Ver55 and reload (write) after

always with unisiemen (read/write flash) so:

Flash: Start 4A0000
Size 01E000

Attention! this address (4A0000) is valid only for versions 52, 54 and 55!
