Member: 47575 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Yet, another S35 battery problem!!! Recently I flashed the sw of my S35i from v05 to v24. (my mobile has 3 years) Strangely, and I don't know if it is coincidence or not, the 600maH battery which before would last 4 to 5 days, now after the upgrade it hardly lasts 3 days in standby. Do you think this is a calibration problem, or was the upgrade too demanding for the battery, lowering it's life? Anyway, I got Sensors Tool 1.3 and tried to make the calibration for myself, but there's just a slight problem... the VbattDSP value only shows "--". Is there any other way to calibrate my S35 or to read the VbattDSP value? Thanks in advance for any help on this subject, Andre M. S. |

Member: 50403 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | what cable? What cable did you use to connect to the Sensor Tool? I tried with the standard serial cable provided by Siemens (I flashed the gsm from v05 to v18 with it) and the software cannot see the phone, it tries continuosly to connect to the gsm. So, what is wrong? (Sorry man I cannot help you) L. |

I used the same cable as you do. This cable we use doesn't have the boot-up circuit, but it isn't needed anyway. To make Sensor Tools communicate with your phone it has to be turned off. Then, when the software is trying to communicate, you have press the on/off (red) button during a 1 sec. This part is a bit tricky, since you have to press the button long enough without turning the phone on. Try several times until you make it. That's all. | |
