| A70 Powers Off Spontaneously During Call Need help please. Bought a phone for my wife to use while she walks the Camino de Santiago in northwestern Spain. The phone worked fine on the first day in Madrid but we have the following problem since she arrived in northwestern Spain: When she calls me in the States the call lasts about two minutes. About thirty seconds before call termination there is a faint standard ring tone in the background. A few seconds later the faint ring tone occurs again. Then a few seconds later the phone powers off (ending the call). This happens whether I call her from the States or she calls me from Spain. The handset is a Siemens A70 and the sim card was purchased from Telestial as part of their Passport Plus service. Can’t reach Telestial because of “extremely high call volume.” Of possible significance … the phone was dropped on the first day in Spain and the battery cover came off and the battery came out. My wife replaced the battery and cover and the phone appeared to power up ok. As of now our communications consist of a series of 120 second calls a few minutes apart. Any help would be appreciated. |

| I've seen this problem in A70. During call the phone says "Low battery" and powers off. The reason was faulty battery. Change the battery and try again. Also maybe the battery moves into the phone. Put some paper between the battery cover and the battery. |
