C55 not able to connect to phone - GSM-Forum

Hello

I`m not able to read log from phone with or without test point.
I have original siemens data cable in use on com1. when i try to flash the phone with original flash file (posted on siemens site) everything works fine. but i can connect to phone with no other software (like a55_c55 unlocker, ksie_2 or something like that). i become allways such response like "press power" or "phone not connected". even if i press on the red phone button i become the same response.

please help meeeee

try with non-original cable and you´ll succeed.

Remove resistor and short circuit A and B points (for a second or two, before you press "NO" on the phone) described in Martech software, then you can write eeprom/flash and repair IMEI with Ksie. You will also need external +5V all the time, with battery removed. Seems that short-circuiting A & B points is some kind of reset... After that, both Ksie and Martech work with no problem.

c55 v18 and v21 cable not work

i try it out

but that thing just dont wont to get unlocked . i think i am giving up i beleave it will never work.

Removed resistor, phone not working...
Cuted wire from CPU ( MAXIM SOLUTINON ), phone not working...

Siemens C55 v 21, when I use Ksie2 or Martech ( cracked ), MAXIM
Wizard, phone not detected!?

Can't read flash/eeprom, unlock also.

Older version tested and all working fine, some new 18 & 21 V,
not working, no communication with SW and phone.

I have search for all solution's but so far nothing work, any idea?

I had the same problem too. The little silver sqare - resistor array near system conector, was damaged. After replace all ok.

I got same prob but external power supply like described in Martech worked out... Take a look, maybe that's your solution...
Flash phone with wizard, it's much faster and easier (in my opinion)...
