C60 without java folder ?????? - GSM-Forum

Hi

I have unlocked many C60 with java patch. But today i have a "new" C60 v12 without java folder. I have upgraded it to v23 to try if it install java and jam forders but no result.

has no java this phone version?

I have tried to create a java/jam folders at mobile with SDE but no results.

I heve tested the two (A and B) flex memory and no java folder
Where is java folder?
Have any idea?

u can unlock ur phone by testpoint

Normally, just create the folders Java/jam and place the applet inside.
If it does not work, try downgrading the C60 by WinSwup

Hi Bop Gsm, I don't want to make testpoint, because what happens if i want to upload a java game?

Protobuyer, I have created java/jam folders with the applet inside but does not work. It does not appear at the phone menu. I believe that if I download soft version with Winswup it dos not appear. Has 12 v originally, and I have tested 12, 20 and 23.

Another solution?

Have you tried to put applet in another folder like for example pictures folder or sounds folder then run the applet. I always delete the applet after I use it anyway. I am just guessing here. I have not run into this problem before.. But it sounds interesting...

Yes i have tried in pictures. I can see the applet, but i can not execute it.
A friend give me a idea. I will post results tomorrow.

Well, problem solved
Open "my Pc" and you can see "Mobile", just "right click" and select "make standard folders". All folders appear and Java/jam too. Just make a subfolder into Java/jam and the applet inside and you can see the applet in the menu "Surf & fun" -> games&applications. Then you can run the applet normally
