C61 (c60?) change provider label - GSM-Forum

Is there any way (with out flashing rom, becose i have no cable.. btw, how much is that cable?) to modify the provider label below the time clock?

At this time, i see 'Roger AT&T' right under the clock, i want to change this with my nickname (or realname.. yeah i have a life:)

By the way, ive a 'built-in' shortcut at left on the screen 'Internet', what the hell is impossible to remove (replace) this shortcut??!

I had similary problem with my old siemens (M46), but one day (i really dont remember how, my cell offer to me to replace this item..). I read my cell' book and i didnt work.

is there a solution to remove the provider name on the screen with a code like *#...?

No, I really don't think u can remove the provider logo without real surgery on the phone and software juggling... the internet shortcut can be changed into anything else u want by simply pushing briefly the button and selecting "change" when it asks u what u want to do... after that u will have a list of functions... all of which can be mapped to any of the 8 buttons from 2 to 9, using the same technique. Ive tried to press quickly on the internet button, it didnt work.. But it work for all other button.. strange
