Error S55 with V_Klay - GSM-Forum

Hi,

may'be someone know this problem and have any solution.

I try to read a FuBu from my S55 with V_Klay and I get a lot of the followed messages
"Error when receiving data - read again"

So it will take -if it will work- a long time to finish.

This is what I use

V_Klay
v2.7.1
COM 1 - 57600
I selected S55

Data of my phone
SW-Version: 91
SW-Date: 2004-05-26
Variant: A 112
Std-Map/SW: 1/16
D-Map/Prov.: 134/139
Lang./T9: lg6/6
Filesystem: A - Free: 175.62 KB - Size: 921.61 KB

I updated it to V91 with the original Siemens-Firmware (update).

So, if you need mor infos please let me know.

Try with v_klay 3.1 (last release)

I tried it also with version 2.5, 2.7.1, 3.2 it is allways the same message/problem

Did you try connect with a new data cable?,your prob maybe caused from cable

yes, check your cable ...
and check VKLay settings for cable ...

What do you mean with new cable and cable settings ?
I bought it a fews day before by blue-light and it says for C55,
but it should work.

I tried also my brother's cable and with my S55 I got the same message as with my cable, his cable and his S55 works fine.

Did you try read FUBU from your brother's S55 with your pc and your cable if you get the same message,it mean your pc or cable has some problem but if it works fine that means this problem comes from your phone

it may work for common data transfers but not all x55 cables working for service jobs (flashing, unlocking, patching) ...
