How do i Connect my computer and my sx1 through USB - GSM-Forum

I have just bought a new SX!. All though am using the original CD and the Original USB Cable, I am still not able to connect my phone to the computer. I am using Windows XP.

Can somebody please send me the USB drivers..

you don't need any USB drivers, when you connect the XP install directly the drivers from the original CD
try to turn of your firewall (some problems occured when Norton Firewall is activated)

Yes that maybe do the trick, but if you steel have problems download Siemens_Sx1swup.inf

I updated the FW from FW5 to FW12 and that did the trick. My computer immediatly recoginzed the phone and loaded the required software.

I have the same problem but my CD is scratch. Can you give me a link for the drivers? Or the name of driver?

power on the phone with SIMcard inside> connect to the USB cable> it's auto detect and serach driver on the CD.

download mobile phone manager from siemens-mobile.com
download sx1 addon for mobile phone manager
plug sx1, new hardware detected. click next. It will find a driver that is not WHQL certified. Click install... you`re done !
