how to flash winswup for sl55 - GSM-Forum

i have a c60 usb cable
i have sl55 winswup svn 20.
i want to flash the sl55
my virtual COM port in COM5.

can i flash the mobile?

Yes you can flash. But i dont know that you must have winswup with USB or COM changer.

COM or USB ?
if COM, do you have a cable scheme ?
how do i flash ? i am familliar to the flashing of Siemens SX1 winswup.

the cable is set on COM 5 (pl2303-prolific usb to serial), but when i select check available i get only com4... on com4 cannot connect.

what must i do ? please help !

Control Panel => System => Device Manager => Ports => Right click Prolific USB-to-Serial => Click the Configuration tab => Advanced => Select the COM port you want to assign.

i even forced the cable to com4. the i entered winswup. clicked check available and... this time no com available.
I only want to know ! somebody answer please !!!!
can i flash the sl55 using USB cable ?
please answer
and also, is there special winswup for usb flashing ?

No need to use special winswup!!Use profilic USB->Com cable for xx55!!!No need to chek available,just select the com port who is on cable and choose speed 460800(API).
Then Turn on the phone an clik start(dont chek SKIP tab).
If everything is ok ,the phone must turn off and begin to flash!!

about the port, it was a problem with my mother`s laptop...
i`m flashing right now the sl55...
another question... if you can tell me
how to i read with v klay the sl55`s flash ?
also, what does bootcore bug mean and patched bootcore.
i have no testpoint made.
