How to update firmware with testpoint?? - GSM-Forum

Hi, i have cutted my testpoint and sinds then i am not able to do a software/firmware update on Winswup because the program cannot detect the bootcore so i tryed to do it with pre-check enabled when my phone is on, that works and the program can connect but then it says "software updated denied by mobile". How can i bypass this security check that my mobile does so i can update my firmware?? Is there a patch or anyting? Please help me!

I think I f you have done testpoint you cannot update phone software with swup.

Let the phone powered on, don't set any hook at pre checks and press start!

Winswup will shut down the phone and start update!

Tipps: Use serial cable (no USB cable with COM emulation) with only 115k baud!
If it is not working at the first time try it again. Sometimes it needs more then one try

I have no Serial cable but only USB

i tryed what you said but it didn't work and i think that's the reason because of the USB cable instead of the serial one. The program gives me the following error "Error on waiting for Ack EOT" and that's it!

Are there no Binaries for FW versions so i can update via V-klay? Thats the only thing i can think of because this will not work so far as i know....anyway i hope you can help me further and offcourse thanx for you'r reply!

Try to set baud to 115k or lower!
