M50 Problem - GSM-Forum

I try to unlock my M50 with FREIA 15, and the result is :

FREIA - Engine build 15, Frontend build 11
Thanks goes out for the following:
Maxim, Rolis, Sergey, PapaJoe, Lead,
TheWizard, Jozso (for hardware and cable
support and of course beta testing),
Nico, Pinker, Tom, Crew
and all the others who supports ...

COMM_IsBootRunning : bootcode does not seem to be running
COMM_LoadBoots : Waiting to power on the phone ...
COMM_LoadBoots : phone is powered on

SEC_BCDIMEIToNormalIMEI : invalid decoded IMEI

O.K.

Now i can't use siemens service profiler or siemens quick eeprom to change features at my phone. That's always say Error ?2 (&HA5).

How can i fix my original IMEI?Before i upgrade my M50 SW from V14 to V19, i can use DES for my M50. Now i can't use that anymore, why this is happen?

It is normal, that the phone has no OTP IMEI (original IMEI)!

Make unlock again:
Unlock->direct unlock no map is saved-->enter IMEI-->hook at "Update flash IMEI"-->ok-->power on phone shortly.

But how about siemens service profiler / siemens quick eeprom features? That still error.

How about using DES for my M50?

Use a tool like VieSie or S25@once for data exchange!

Thanks a lot bout your help... But i still don't understand what must i do with this error message - ?2 (&HA5) - when i use SSP (Siemens Service Profiler) to activate band selection menu and other feature?What is the meaning of that error message?

Manusia, did u have Test point grounded for your M50? what was the configuration u had? cuz i have a M50 V19 and freia 15 is not unlocking it. i have tried with and without test point grounded and it always gets me this freaking msg:

M50 needs no testpoint for flashing!

Just set BootType to Normal and all will work fine!

Chris02, i still get the same msg... is there a special cable to do it? cuz i got a cable that i dont know its pinout, besides, i havent flashed the phone yet cuz i dont have a flash file for it... did i mentioned my phone software version is 19? and i am going "direct unlock no map is saved". i configure freia and hit it... nothing works for me... tried every combination possible, still nothing... any other idea?

V19 is a patched firmware!

Maybe you should try an original one!
