M55 serial data cable problems

Hi,

SDS cannot recognize phone with M55 serial data cable. I saw that only 3 wires are connected - pins 2,3,4.
Is there a software to check cable / com port ?

Should it be this way ?

Can you send me cable schematics ?

What usage of this connectivity option ?

Regards

No, your operator can't lock, that u can't use a cable!

Just try to read a EEPROM! Then u know if u have a good cable!

Ehm, Chris, just for your info: There are some Noname Cables on the market that are ONLY flashable and not able to read data from the phone when it is switched on, cables (like the original Siemens Data cable) that are not flashable, but able to read data when it is on AND some nonamecable which have both Abilitys. If you don't believe me, I could send you my both cables ^^
In German it would be easier and faster explained
