Is it possible to downgrade M55 v11 to lower (i.e. v10, v07 ...)?

yes, but only with testpoint!

yes u can even without testpoint...you have to use the unofficial firmware which comes with winsup...all the unofficial firmwares can be found @ http://kai.mtf.stuba.sk/users/gsmfre...ns/flashen.htm

so don't write such ****!

And if u downgrade your phone with winswup u can't still unlock your phone! Because winswup don't change bootcore!

i meant the whole unreleased firmware package which is unofficial...

who said anything about not being or being able to unlock fone? da guy only asked if he could downgrade his firmware, mackka...

i think he asked about downgrade, because he read that M55v10 can be unlocked without cutting wire.But NO, downgrade won't help.

There is no unofficial software! All software u get is official Siemens software!

official = when available to general public...i am aware of service centres using newer firmware versions than on siemens website...which are the same as the ones dat can be gotten hold off, unofficially...

Is this not only SW difference, but HW difference too between M55 v11 and v10?!

strange.. my M55 originally had sw v11.. i flashed it with v10.. and unlocked with M55 tool.. works perfectly..

This is main reason I have asked for downgrading but I didn't know that there is hardware difference in M55v10 vs M55v11.

i dont think so that you have an original m55 from siemens with v11 i think it was a version with old bootcore and update to 11 from 10
