M55 Ver 91 and px5amd

I got M55 with firmware 91. lang01
I tried to unlock it using Java midlet patch px5amd, but always get message
"Can't create class in system package".
Please could someone be so kind and tell me, is it possible to make downgrade/upgrade to version 11 and try java midlet.
I don't know which version is new Version 11 or Version 91.

Does anybody unlock this version 91 using java midlet.
I was successful unlock all new series C60, MC60 and M55, but now I stoped.

As I know Java Px5AMD was designed for M55 v11. Because the new M55 which is include firmware v11, could not detected by FREIA or V_Klay.
So, the Java patch, "open the door" and let the phone detected by the software.
If V_klay or FREIA can recognized your phone, you don't need Px5Amd.

if you want to DOWNGRADE into v11, you can use WINSWUP v11 with precheck skipped. Winswup, will only erase and change the firmware, your flexmem, Bootcore will safe.

Which one the bigger number : 11 or 91 ?
So, you will know.. v91 is newer instead of v11, thats why we call it UPdate!

but I am not new in this area. I just asked is it possible to downgrade to version 11 because with Java midlet I unlocked successful M55_V11.
Also With this Java midlet I unlocked C60 and MC60 as well.
Problem currently exist with new software.
I saw on USA version 84 and Europe version 91 Siemens delete Java bug into mobile and now nobody can unlock this version.
That is a reason why I asked for dowgrade.

I searched also in forum and so that crrently no way to unlock this version with java midlet anymore.
So I ask for help, I have M55 version 91 and can try everything but doesn't know how start.

As far as I have some experiece in this area U risc to kill the phone if U doungrade version /with freia for sure/....I think its better to try martech...
Its a professional relised box and U will be safe using it...

Just want to know, your M55 is a brand new with v91 inside it? or you update it from previous version? and have you tried using Winswup v11 for downgrade?

Hi, what happends,
I have a problem with my M55 version 11, and because varanty I back it to the siemens service shop.
The day after I get not my M55_v11, but M55_V91. I can see that IMEI is different from my priviously M55.
Now I am afraid to downgrade it, because in service shop they know about java bug ( I think so), and that is a reason why they put version 91 inside M55.

Now I must to wait on free solution, java midlet doesn't work

v10<=>v11<=>v91, vice versa without need any martech.

I have searched and read a lot about unlocking M55. I have firmware 10. My question is, is it possible to unlock M55_v10 without cutting anything in the phone using FREIA?

I would really appreciate it if someone could give me step-by-step instructions on how to do it because I'm very new in this area. I really need to unlock it because I'm a frequent traveler and I often have to use different sim cards in different countries on the same M55.

almost m55 with factory firmware v10 -- one of them is mine -- are easiest to unlock and need no TP. you just needs a "correct" cable to do that (and i'm prefer to use USB type).

to unlock with Freia:
On the Phone Information window, select "Phone model: Siemens M55".
On the Main Functions window, click on "Configuration Functions" button.
Configure all settings as your desired configurations ... COM port & speed.
Set "Boot type: Bootcore bug".
Close this Configuration Functions window by pressing on "OK".
...
On the Main Functions window then click on "Unlocking Functions".
Select "Direct unlock no map is save" option and then click on "Use original IMEI" button.
...
On the Process Information window, when this "COMM_LoadBoots : Waiting to power on the phone ..." info shown then short-clicking the RED button on your phone.
Next you just need to wait until Freia say "O.K." ...
Done!

Thanks so much KoTsK. I used your instructions but it does not seem that it worked because it took only few seconds for Freia and the % bar was still 0% and it said OK on the screen...I followed exactly your steps. something must be wrong, I don't know what.

I used Freia 15 and a USB generic (no name) data cable to connect the phone.
I removed the sim card before running freia and put back when freia said ok.

Is there a way to know that the phone has been unlocked? I don't have any sim card from another cellular company or country to test it.

I also want to mention that the factory version was 9 and I upgraded to 10 from the siemens website. Does this make any difference?
