Message waiting icon on SX1 wont go away (HELP!!) - GSM-Forum

hi,
I running FW8 on an sx1 and the MWI (Message waiting indicator) will not go off. The same thing happened with firware 6 and 7. I am on Cingular Wireless in the US. I tried swapping sim cards with a t-mobile users and att wireless with the same results. Has anyone seen this..and been able to fix it?

message waiting? do you think meesage going indicator?
try looking in your outbox. if there is something, try deleting that...

I tried deleting all messages same thing...the o-o icon is still there
