I think GPRS should be activated rewriting #68 Eelite block from working C55 using EEprom tool 2.0 from Skylord.

Question to Skylord - which eeprom block contains LCD contast data?

I've repeated the reanimation procedures (wrote fullflash again, the free cracked Wizard didn't write IMEI after eeprom reflashing only) and phone is now OK, GPRS working OK., version 180505

But winswup SVN 18 doesn't flash it - says "No bootcore detected".

((( So please somebody send me language area with Russian from C55 SVN 18 (512 Kbytes) to [email protected]

Putting back the testpoint seems to be very tricky

I think winswup for C55 doesn't support A55 flash IC. Need to test.
Btw, is it possible to use winswup boot technology to flash only language part to phone? Or flashin a55 without removing test pin is possible for full winswup flashing only?

Flashing LG was of no help - the phone is blinking now

Confirmed - the phone can't be flashed with Winswup after remove of testpoint

Please send me a description of siemens XBI format to [email protected] if any

Intrasting that after update lg phone blinks,I don't know why,it's downloaded from C55 v18.
I think putting back other lg can help.
If no than expect my help for repairing the phone

contrats tools didnt work for c55 at my C55.
just use siemens eepromtools 2.2 for read original LCD setting field from good phone then copy it. (worked for me)

Hi all

Siemnes contrast tool works fine with C55, after replacing broken display with a new one, the display was very dark and with this tool my screen now is OK
