When I turn on my Siemens SX1 it suddenly writes : SX1 Software Update Connect USB Cable and start update Software on PC

What shell I Do? I only installes a game before yesterday Agilefighter downloaded from this Forum. I normaly played with my Siemens. Yesterday it was normal too, but today suddenly this. I can not explain it.

I have the USB Cable from my Siemens Box - but I have no Idea what to do and what Software I must use.
Please help me and tell me what to do. PLEASE.

It does´nt work. It always displays the same thing : SX1 Software update connect USB Cable and start update Software on PC

I have the USB Cable from the Siemens Box, but from where do I get the wright Software and what must I do?

But which one must I use. Will my Siemens be damaged further if I use the wrong Software?
If Lg means Languge I would need German and I found many Softwares that support German, but I don´nt know which one to use.
Could you plese tell me what I must do step by step. Thank you!

An other question: My Sx1 has no Sim lock. If I make the Software update will it be sim restrickted again?
Please I would be thankful for any help that I can get!

No, if you make an update sim lock status won't be chaned.

BTW: If you speak German why haven't you wrote the PM on German?

Entschuldige Chris02. In meiner Panik habe ich gar nicht gelesen, dass du Deutsch sprichst. Ich habe das Problem ohne Softwareupdate gelöst und schreibe jetzt einmal in Englisch wie ich es geschafft habe. Vielleicht hilft es anderen SX1 Besitzer, die in eine ähnliche Situstion geraten sind weiter. Nochmals danke für deine Antwort.

I have solved the SX1 problem without updating the Firmware. Yesterday evening I have made the decision to update the Firmware. In the internet I have found many Sx1 users, who had to suffer from the same problem and the only Solution they had to offer was bringing the SX1 to a Siemens Service center or to try to update the Firmware - so I choosed the last solution.
Before updating the Firmware the mobiles battery has to be charged completly so I removed the SIM card and connected the Sx1 to the charger. And here I´ve noticed that the Siemens Mobile Screen came and on the upper right side the charging Symbol.
I was happy that the Sx1 did´nt wright "Sx1 Software update ......." so I disconnected the mobile from the charger and turned it on, but again it started in Software update mode.
Then I connected the SX1 once again to the charger ( The Siemens Mobile Screen came again and the charging Symbol ). Now I tried to turn on my phone with the charger connected and it worked. The Sx1 wrote Insert Sim Card. I inserted the Sim card and connected it once again to the charger ( Before that I have tried once again without beeing connected to the charger, but it started in Software update mode again ) and it worked - the SX1 did not startup in Software update mode and logged on to the network.
I then disconnected it from the charger and turned off the phone. I waited for one minute and turned it on without beeing connected to the charger and the mobile started up normal.
Now the phone works without any problem.

Could it be that there was/is a kind of virus on the phone. Is there any Antivirus so I can scan my SX1 for viruses?
