serial port settings for siemens data exchange - GSM-Forum

I'm running WinXP and for awhile I was unable to enable java on my C56. Vissie and a couple of other programs have always worked but Siemens Data Exchange would not. I finally tried enabling java on a friend's computer running WinME with the same cable I used on mine and it worked fine and I was able to run SDE without a problem. However, even with my unlocked phone I can't use SDE on my computer. Does anyone know why this might be the case?

Could someone running WinXP that is able to use SDE please tell me your com port settings?
To check:
Go to the control panel and open system. Choose the hardware tab and click on the Device Manager button. From the device manager double click Ports (COM & LPT). Double click Com 1 or 2 depending on which you use for your phone. Choose the Port Settings tab and please tell me the settings you see.
