Hi, I'm a newbie but I think maybe someone here can help me... please it's quiet important.

I have an old Siemens af51, (no usb cable or others tricks)... it is possible to make a backup of all my sms stored in the phone?
If yes, it's easy? What things are necessary?

...it is possible only if you buy (or make) the one serial cable for this phone. Of course, you need to use one Phone Manager for this.

....yes bro, is a software. Find on the Internet for the common phones manager:
Mobile Master, Mobiledit!, Cell Phone Manager....

...or only for Siemens phone manager:
SiMoCo, Mobile Phone Manager (MPM)

I have bought the dca-140 cable with Mobile Phone Manager for Siemens cell but my pc don't recognize the phone and I don't understand why...

...because each version of MPM working only with somme Siemens models.Post your MPM version.

with the cable there was a cd with Siemens Mobile Phone Manager version 4.20.636.41.0. Isn't the right version?

i'm sorry.... i need some help here...
1. i have a AF51 too, but i can't find the cable in my city...
so how can i do or there another way to make it by my self?
2. My phone is locked cause my little daughter enter wrong security code 3 times (i'm so stupid stupid)
how to unlock my phone without using cable?
3. I read the forum said that if using cable i must use TP then joker...

I alreary download those sw, but what is TP? how to use it? (if i can create my own cable)

...you need to make your own cable:
1. Search in your city one serial or USB to serial GSM cable.
2. Search one hansfree for Siemens A31/AF51 cable (for Lumberg slim connector)
3. go to Benq-Siemens AF51, A31 cell phones cable connector pinout and wiring @ pinouts.ru
to find the pinouts connection.

If you want to construct your serial cable (with Max232 IC), download from RapidShare: 1-CLICK Web hosting - Easy Filehosting. Inside you have schematics for more cables used on Siemens GSM service and software (Joker and Papuautils).
Regarding to the testpoint, open Joker, select AF51 phone, go to the Flash menu and click on TP button. You will see one picture. See in the picture which track you need to cut to make testpoint.

Yes , if u want to unlock please create cable and use Jocker tool .
Your phone has user lock , not network lock , when show imei without solution.
Great cable and unlock it !
