sx1 dead wıth a bıg mıstake please help

First of all sorry for my english,ı have firmware ınt 15 on my sx1 ı wanted to downgrade it on to the firmware 7 turkısh, but ı have done a very bıg mıstake .İn wınswup mode ı choseed only coreımg z1 and baudrate 10500 after this phone dead . ı have c55 serial cable ı used the wınswup mode to brıng ıt to life choosen wıth egold core but nothıng happens ,what can ı do please someone help me....

Same problem here. I was wondering if there is a way to flash bootcore without powering on. Is it possible ? what do we need ? different cable than orginal ?

try to flash with WinSwup using com cable, but with selected option (in
left panel) "EGold - Core" only. of course you have to choose com
cable in options.
after this, phone'll be able to go in usb upgrade mode.

Is it so, that with com cable (rs-323) i get access to the phone without powering on. For example with Freia15 i get the message "phone is not powered on", with orig. cable. So, what's the secret with sx1 cables, is there also a direct usb cable ? and what is the most easiest way to get or make one (rs323 or usb)?

Ok, this same problem... i think, is being discussed in siemens-mobile.org forum.. for now, i think there is "rs323 cable" for sx1 and also usb cables made for a55,s55,c60,sl55 may work because they use com emulation.

but what's with the orig. cable, it doesn't power up those flashchips or what ? If phone is dead, will these other cables offer power for flashing ?

use serial cable select manual switch com1 115200 and select only egold and skip precheck,press start,when prog say connect bootbox press ok and shortly on power on.if all ok after flash write phone will power in software update mode.now conect to usb (but with original cable,not usb with com emulation),install drivers for sx1,select in winswup usb only unmark egold and mark others (core-img rolf,lffs ,etc) and press start.

serial - COM cable (for example cable for c55) offers writing down the bootcore in sx1, without switching the phone into USB-mode cable upgrade.
after that, it allows to upgrading in usb-mode.

now, after flashing like that, you just have to switch in usb-mode.
and flash with full marked options in winswup.

Ok, helped for me.
But not as clearly as you are saying...
Actually, i was trying all those key combinations that i found from web to start egold core flash.. nothing happened and i was losing my temper.. but after removing and replacing battery for couple of times (while winswup trying..) zadam.. my phone was in swup-mode, but winswup was still trying..

afterwards i tried the orginal flash update.. it leaded to message saying that i have more recent version.. and it powered my phone off again.. and there i was again.. i didn't know for sure what powered my phone.. but clearly it doesn't happen with usb-cable..

so what i can think off.. is that i needed that rs-232 cable for initiating the swup-mode, but not for egold-core flashing.. because i was able to flash fully with usb afterwards..

but thanks for all those tips, that might really work for someone..

... and for those that do not allready know that "more recent" or "wrong distr." messages from orginal flashing utility can be ignored by flashing with winswup...

if you flash only Z1 core, try to flash whith standart USB cable (press joy and on/off) in you case e-gold firmware not corrupted

Yep! it wasn't corrupted. But somehow i wasn't able to start (joy and on/off) swup-mode and the phone was "dead" entirely.. (no charging or any responce) and then the swup-mode started while i was strugling with rs-232/winswup/battery/keycompinations..

for now.. its working because i fullflashed.

you battery is charged ? may be battery have low voltage, test the voltage whith voltmeter

Ok, im sorry if i have been misunderstanded.. But i managed to get life back in my SX1 allready.

after struggling with rs-232, i managed to flash with this tutorial : http://www.tbns.net/donfalcone/
and i can tell now that its working.. but DO NOT pass the first thing : flash the same variant and version fully.

when you can't swich into usb upgrade mode, and you are patching by com cable, using only EGold - Core, and no pressing joy+red (so, u have corruptede bootcore), u have to uncheck "skip" on right side of pre-check
in main winswup window. that allows you to write in bootcore to sx1, and after that make full winswup using usb cable in usb upgrade mode.

so, is your mobile alive ?? worrying about it...
