Unlock C56 - GSM-Forum

I have two old C56s that i would like to use because the screen on my current phone broke. They are ATT phones and I called ATT to get the 8 digit unlock code because they were network locked and didnt work with my newer 3g SIM. How do I input the unlock code?

SP unlock:
*#0003*( secret code - 8digits )#

I have tried once on each phone, each time it said "please wait" followed by "invalid entry". I tried without the sim cards in. Did they give me bad codes for both phones or am I missing something?

BTW, when I do *#0606*, the second line says "multiple lock" the rest say "unbarred"

...to unlock your phone using secret code, you need to have SIM inside (with SIM). If the second line is barred, your phone is locked by provider.
Try to unlock using secret code only one time, not more. If not working remain to unlock using Joker and service cable.
