Unlock SL55 without testpoint

I have found in this forum that it's possible to unlock a SL55 without testpoint by loading the "px5amd" in the Java of the phone with Dataexchange Software v.2.67 for exchanging the bootcore.

The problem is that the phone don't save the px5md file (.jad and .jar), it starts to save but it stucks and nothing happen.

Is this really possible to change the bootcore in this way for this model, I did it for a M55 but I didn't know it for a SL55 ?

If it's not working I will try to do it with testpoint but how remove the "cover" with IMEI sticker to reach the testpoint ?

Thanks in advance for your precious help.

Which version is your phone?

before v16 you don't need to modify the phone for unlcoking
on v16 you need testpoint or Javamidlet
on v17 you need to make testpoint (connect Resistor to GND)

Make yourself some sort of tool, or do it the cheap way (for only 1 phone):
The most left connector is negative or GND, the most right connector is positive.

Solder wires an connect them to any battery giving 3,6 or 3,7 V. You can use an old 6110 battery for that purpose.

Connect a wire with needle to the negative side. Hold the needle at the testpoint while unlocking. This way, the T9-line will be grounded out.

For V16 really need no testpoint? How can PX5AMD work on this phone, when structure of S55/SL55 is different to structure of M55/MC60/C60?

In the Netherlands too, I have 20 pieces here to unlock.
They are locked on Telfort
Do I need testpoint methode or resistor methode for this version?

Jeanfleur
