Unlocking Siemens A56 !!!

Hi there,

I'm trying to unlock my siemens A56...
I bought the data cable from ebay...from this chinese guy...
it's not the original OEM one...
but The software....siemens toolbox free...or freia doesn't seem to recognize the phone....

FREIA - Engine build 10, Frontend build 9
Thanks goes out for the following:
Maxim, Rolis, Sergey, PapaJoe, Lead,
TheWizard, Jozso (for hardware and cable
support and of course beta testing),
Nico, Victor, Pinker, Tom,
and all the others who supports ...
COMM_LoadBoots : selected phone family is 8
TTY_OpenCOMPort : opening COM4
COMM_IsBootRunning : bootcode does not seem to be running
COMM_LoadBoots : Waiting to power on the phone ...
COMM_LoadBoots : phone is not powered on

what am I doing wrong??
any help will be appreciated...

If I succeed to unlock my phone, I'll even reward you with some $ as a token of appreciation...

thnx in advance...

I recently got a Serial Data Cable and trying to unlock Siemens A56...I've usb too but it didn't work so I'm using Serial cable now...

I'm using XP
First I plugged the cable into pc serial port, than connect the phone to the other end. I run the Freia, all siemens,...etc all programs...and they don't seem to find my phone....it always shows phone not power on....
How may I suppose to know at which port it's connected....com1..com2..com3......
I checked in device manager....and I only see com1...com2........

when I run the software...it shows...port busy....

otherwise....phone is not power on....

can someone help....please
Chris ...are you there?

Thanks for your response,
I did try that but it seems to me that they do not recognize the phone or it's like the phone is not connected.
First I tried to unlock it using USB , it didn't work
now I've a serial......no luck...

Do I need any drivers?
how to know which com port am I using for the cable....

any help will be appreciated a million times.

warm regards,
babaliciouz.
