Will data cable remove sp lock for c56?

I hust bought a Siemens C56 phone, and it was 'sp locked', It was made for a special plan:

So I think the cheapest and best thing to do would be to buy a data cable and unlock it for good. I'm planning on buying this data cable:

And follow these instructions:

1.Connect your phone to the COM-port of your computer with a SERVICE cable. Make shure the cable can be used for
unlocking. The phone should be TURNED OFF. SIM card should be taken out.
Launch the program.
2.Adjust the configuration functions depending on the settings of your computer.
3.In "Phone Model" field choose the mobile phone you are unlocking.
4.In "Unlocking functions" choose "Create log from phone", push a power button once on your Siemens phone(do not
power on the phone, just push it once)
5."Unlocking functions" again, choose "Create map from log" choose a .log-file, the program creates a map
file.
6.Push "Unlocking functions" button again, choose "Load map to phone", point to the file you created, push the
power button on your phone. Wait 10 seconds for the program to say "OK"
7. Turn off the program, turn on the phone . You might need to take the battery out and put it back again.


Note: For S56, SL56, A56, C56 or any other 56 model, choose x55 model respectively and adjust configuration
Configuration -> Boot type -> Bootcore bug, also try normal boot type if it doesn't work.

For MC60 use M55 option.

Will this remove the 'sp lock' and unlock the phone as well?

hey man just open freia select ur phone type
and unlock no map save use original imei .by the way i dont think it works with any sim card .

What do you mean, with any SIM card?

It is a rogers phone and I will be using a Rogers SIM, I'm not sure what you mean though?
