After cut the test point, Boot file not accepted - GSM-Forum

Hello

I have MC60 , i cut the test point normally, try to unlock it using freia 9 i got the folowing :

FREIA - Engine build 9, Frontend build 3
Thanks goes out for the following:
Maxim, Rolis, Sergey, PapaJoe, Lead,
TheWizard, Jozso (for hardware and cable
support and of course beta testing),
Nico, Victor, Pinker, Tom,
and all the others who supports ...

COMM_IsBootRunning : bootcode does not seem to be running

Boot file is accepted - Freia can communicate with phone (you can read phone info) mean you cutted testpoint well.

Probably unknown flash chip

find good full from live phone
or look here and search thare is good fubu www.gsm-free.com
and use freia9 162c for flashing

...same prb with one mc60 v10, and You can't write any deam thing to these phone so idea about write full flash etc. don't have results (update not acsepted)
I allredy try everithing (check lines under CPU-ok, reball CPU-ok, new CPU from working phone-ok. any version off Freia....)
My phone is now in the box and if You finde some solution pls let me now.

I have the same problem not 1 time -)))
first flash it with good fullflash (fubu for example) v4 or v10 {size 14 336 k}
try to flash bootcore (select in freia MC60 boot, after flashing bootcore you must write fullflash)

You just have not made a decent cut on the testpoint. You need to go deeper then it will accept the bootfile. Flashng will not unlock the phone!

..Yes cut more deeper and you have new problem : navigation button not work-)))))

freia connect phone - it mean that testpoint -ok

after correct flash (bootcore and fullflash v4) update will be accepted

Did you try all boot options? Sometimes they surprise you...

You need to go deeper then it will accept the bootfile. Flashng will not unlock the phone!
