C65 Help, Map & FFS Flashing. - GSM-Forum

I have just got my C65 only a few days ago. It was firmware v12. I have now upgraded to v33 and it is good. Now i want to upgrade the MAP and FFS to v33 also because they are still v12, but i can not find the files for v33.

I have maps for v25, will this work ok on my phone? Also i have FFS for v25, but that is from another language, i need x2xx language, can someone help?

Also how can i flash the map onto my phone? I have looked for tutorials but i find nothing.

I forgot to say my phone is already unlocked as i buy it direct from Siemens. I just want to make all softwares to the newest i can.

Is it possible to safely change the languages in my phone? If so i will be happy to change to x3xx as it also contains english.

Hi, I dont think there wos Sw33 for C65 ..
anyway u can get C65 Sw43 and ffs 43 here :http://allsiemens.ru/flash/

Thanks, i have it now but it is for language x3xx and x1xx, my phone is language x2xx so the firmware will not seem to flash.

Is it possible to make my phone a differant language, i would be happy to make my phone language x3xx or another if it is possible to do this properly without breaking things? Also i use Siemens EEEPROM tool v3.15 by Skylord to flash the MAP.

It flashes ok and my phone settings get reset, but when i *#06# my phone still reports the map to be version 12, not the version i just flashed. How can i make this update?

I have a Full Backup made now so i know i can restore my phone to working, im not affraid to try things now :-)

I have made my phone flash with x3xx v43 firmware and v43 FFS now. There are 2 things.

1) Why is my variant still "U 203"? It should be x3xx, right?

2) I reflash the map (v43) with EEPROM tool 3.15, but it says map is still v12 :-(

How do i make the map show as v43?
